Ankyloglossia or Tongue tie occurs when a normal small tissue remains persistence of midline sublingual tissue that usually undergoes apoptosis during growth causes control of normal tongue movement. The most common and earliest finding in relation to this state is impair or totally failed breast-feeding. In the occurrence of tongue tie, two categories of symptoms take place, first related to nipple trauma and second related to unsuccessful breast emptying and low baby eating.
